When exactly does the hirer get charged?

Thirty days after the candidate's confirmed start date. This gives both the hirer and candidate a full month to confirm the placement is working. If the candidate leaves within 30 days no fee is charged. If no hire happens at all, no charge. Ever.

What is the 5% candidate signing bonus?

Every GRIT candidate is entitled to a 5% signing bonus of their agreed starting salary, paid directly by the hiring business after 12 months of employment. This is a contractual condition of using GRIT β€” written into our Terms of Service.

Do candidates submit a CV?

Yes β€” every candidate uploads their full CV. Hirers also get 3 video interview responses and answers to 6 written questions covering skills, experience, goals and salary. You get more than a CV, not less.

How is the GRIT Score calculated?

Our AI analyses the candidate's written answers across Drive, Resilience, Communication and Ambition. Every score is reviewed by our team before being shown to any hirer β€” ensuring accuracy and quality.

Is GRIT always free for candidates?

Why we do it
